Wake SWCD provides both educator training and student programs to advance environmental literacy among Wake County citizens. Our Environmental Education Specialist and comprehensive program have been recognized by the NC Wildlife Federation, the NC Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society, NC Division of Soil and Water Conservation, Wake County Wildlife Club, National Association of Conservation Districts, and Environmental Educators of NC.
