Community Conservation Programs

The Wake County Soil & Water Conservation District isn’t solely concerned with Agricultural or open space conservation – we also have a keen interest in the area of Community (Urban) conservation as well. Many homeowners contribute to water pollution without even knowing it. Wake SWCD is on the forefront of several programs to help folks do it!

There are multiple programs offered by the State of North Carolina for. Community Conservation Assistance Programs (CCAP). These programs provide educational, technical and financial assistance to landowners and installs the best management practices on urban, suburban and rural lands.

Approved ACSP and CCAP practices can be found at NC Division of Soil and Water Conservation or by contacting us.
